
School is divided into two teaching areas in line with the National Curriculum. The Foundation Area consists of two Nursery classes (morning and afternoon) and two Reception classes. The Key Stage 1 area consists of three classes - a Year 1 class, a year 1/2 class and a Year 2 class.
In addition, there is a computer suite which can accommodate whole class teaching, a food technology room, a family library, a nurture room, a reading book room, the language mobile, the group room and the CASSTLE, which are used as additional teaching areas or for meetings.

| The large hall is used for assemblies, P.E. and as a dining area. It also provides space for concerts and visiting groups to perform plays or musical entertainment. | |

| Classrooms are equipped with interactive whiteboards and at least two computers. A bank of laptops is available for use around school. Cooking is a popular after school club activity. | |
The family library is stocked with books for parents and
pre-school children too and is open after school on Tuesdays and
Thursdays. |

| The playground is situated at the front of the School. During fine weather, the large field to the rear of the School is used as a playing area as well as for P.E. lessons. | |

| The adventure play area is outside the Key Stage 1 classrooms. The Foundation Stage Classes have an enclosed play area which is well equipped with a climbing frame, sand pit, play boat and numerous large toys for the children to enjoy. In summer, this becomes the ideal space for water activities. | |

CASSTLE is used for teaching, drama, music and sport and
provides a space for extra activities, such as parent workshops,
gifted and talented events, joint programmes with other schools
and extended school work. |
