Dear parents and carers
As you are aware, Juniper class have been extremely busy and fortunate to go on two visits in as many weeks.
Last Wednesday we enjoyed visiting the Sainsbury Centre of Visual Arts where we had the opportunity to see many various forms of artwork. A workshop allowed the children to work with an artist to create a shadow mural and an in depth tour and talk was given to all.
I am very proud to say that all adults involved with working with the children during the day commented on their fabulous behaviour and excellent questions they asked.
Today the children experienced how life in Great Yarmouth would’ve been about 100 years ago whilst visiting the Time and Tide Museum. They explored the rows, had an insight into the fishing industry and experienced how a Morrison shelter built under a bed may have saved their life during an air raid during the war. This was a fantastic opportunity offered to our class free of charge from the museum.
Please ask your child about their visits and about their favourite part(s) of the days.
